Venor is proud to partner with Cresco in their search for a Site Superintendent to join their team.

The Site Superintendent – multi res is responsible for managing day-to- day site operations ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining project schedules, and enforcing health and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, problem solving skills, and the ability to coordinate trades, and suppliers to deliver multi residential buildings on time and within budget.

What you’ll do

• Supervise day-to-day management of the construction site on assigned project, ensuring the work is completed safely and consistent with Cresco standards and project specifications.
• Leading and directing all on-site activities, including site security, manpower and logistics as well as establishing on-site work methods, managing material and supplies, and maintaining accurate and detailed project documents.
• Providing safety leadership through implementation of Cresco Safety Program and promoting a culture of safety performance.
• Driving and maintaining the construction schedule in conjunction with the project team ensuring that site activities, completion dates and milestones are met. providing regular feedback, forecasts and risks that impact the construction schedule.
• Read and interpret working drawings, shop drawings, site instructions and RFI’s.
• Lead OH&S and Environmental initiatives, promoting HS&E standards, policies, procedures, acts and regulations and ensuring they are being followed by everyone on site.
• Ensuring sufficient manpower is provided to achieve safety, schedule and quality objectives.
• Providing people leadership through establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with site staff and subcontractors to promote positive morale.
• Forecasting any material requirements and collaborating with appropriate stakeholders to ensure that materials are supplied in a timely fashion and meet quality standards as well as receiving and organizing materials with appropriate teams on site.
• Identifying and advising of design deficiencies, schedule interruptions or difficulties, and other project issues while working collaboratively with Project Manager to resolve issues.
• Such other roles and duties as the Employer may from time to time require.

What you’ll need

• Multi-unit experience with at least 3 full cycle builds completed.
• 5+ years of multifamily or commercial construction experience in a site superintendent role
• Effective communication skills
• People Leadership
• Planning and Executing on a construction plan
• Effective computer skills
