We are seeking a passionate, results-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the organization in attracting top talent. The successful candidate will work with the management team to enhance and execute the recruitment strategy to meet recruitment needs. Responsibilities will include expansion of sourcing options to attract passive candidates, following an established recruitment process including competency interviewing and reference checking, and administering the new hire process from offer through to the onboarding process. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will build relationships within the business community and industry associations, as well as partner with local stakeholders for current or future recruitment needs. 

As the ideal candidate, you have post-secondary education in business, human resources or a relevant field, combined with previous recruitment experience in a fast-paced, high volume. environment. As a highly motivated and proactive individual you have a strong level of commitment to achieving targets and a proven ability to manage a high volume of candidate applications. The successful candidate will have experience in interviewing and selection techniques, be capable of developing marketing and networking strategies, and will possess a working knowledge of various industry sectors and positions. The flexibility to work outside of traditional hours to maintain existing contacts is considered an asset.
