The management team provides strategic insight and expertise that enables their partners to be successful and provide the best care for their patients. East Coast Dental Group provides access to resources to enable dentists to offer optimal services to their patients; such as head office support (compliance, human resources, practitioner services), IT systems, marketing, and electronic patient management systems.

On their behalf, we are seeking a Vice President, People & Culture to join their growing network of dental clinics.

Reporting to the President & CEO, the Vice President, People & Culture acts as a strategic resource and tactical/implementation leader for all human resource initiatives and strategies.   The VP will be instrumental in helping drive the organization to achieve business goals and has full responsibility for the strategy, employee engagement, design and implementation of human resources initiatives. In particular, an emphasis will be placed on organizational culture, organizational design and development, training, succession planning, talent retention, recruitment, and leadership development.  The VP operates consultatively to evaluate and develop HR protocols, ensure their implementation and compliance, and manage daily transactional HR issues that may arise.

The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with a successful track record in change management. You will be a role model of integrity, and effective at maintaining an environment where collaboration, open communication, building relationships and continuous improvement are encouraged and valued.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience and a minimum of 5 years management experience.  Your experience should include senior level exposure to internal communications, talent development, recruitment/retention, and compensation and benefits. You have demonstrated the ability to implement HR best practices with quantifiable results. A relevant undergraduate degree and CPHR designation preferred.
