Ian Sullivan

Partner - Executive Recruitment & Talent Consulting

Ian leads Venor’s Executive Recruitment and Talent Consulting practice. Holding a Bachelor of Business Administration from Saint Francis Xavier University, he began his career with TD Bank before progressing into more senior roles with Maritime Life. Following Maritime Life, Ian worked for eight years as a Principal with Morneau Shepell, a leading Human Resources consulting firm where he focused on benefits consulting.  

He then moved to a national search firm specializing in executive search and leadership placement. Here, he honed his expertise in identifying top-tier talent across various industries and organizational levels.

Ian’s multifaceted specialties include talent alignment, organizational effectiveness, leadership team effectiveness, and change management. He is deeply involved in his community through business and sport. Ian has served on the Board at Churchill Academy, Palooka’s, and the Nova Scotia Sports Hall of Fame. 

At Venor, Ian plays a pivotal role in shaping the talent attraction strategy. His meticulous attention to each placement ensures that clients secure the right candidates, while his commitment to delivering tangible value and results has earned him high regard in the Human Resource and Finance community.
