Ian leads Venor’s Executive Recruitment and Talent Consulting practice. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Saint Francis Xavier University, and began his career with TD Bank before progressing into more senior roles with Maritime Life. Following Maritime Life, Ian worked for eight years as a Principal with Morneau Shepell, a leading Human Resources consulting firm with specialty skills in Pension and Benefits focusing on executive search roles in Atlantic Canada.    

Ian’s specialties include alignment of talent, organizational effectiveness; leadership team effectiveness; and change management. Ian has served on the Board at Churchill Academy, Palooka’s, and the Nova Scotia Sports Hall of Fame. He is deeply involved in his community through both business and sport.
