What you’ll be doing 

Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Technology is responsible for steering the optimization of enterprise applications and driving innovative solutions that align with the organization’s overarching objectives. You will be spearheading major technology initiatives, security enhancements, network systems, ERP advancements, and transformative projects. You will also bring in effective change management and ensure projects are delivered on scope, time, and budget. 

As the Director of Technology, you are the strategic visionary. Your responsibilities will be at the forefront of guiding the organization toward technological excellence. You will be divining into the intricacies of identifying, analyzing, and mitigating technology implementation risks, and collaborating across departments with senior leaders to develop innovative solutions. Your influence extends beyond, encompassing strategic partnerships with stakeholders, continuous assessment of internal processes, and advocating for enhanced nationwide service delivery and intricate business solutions. Moreover, you will navigate current and forge new contract agreements with hardware and software solution providers. Additionally, you will take the lead in financial tracking, and reporting on Capital, Operational, and Staffing expenditures for all business units. Staying ahead of the curve, you will keep the organization abreast of the latest technology trends and solutions that can be harnessed for unparalleled business success. 

About You

As the ideal candidate, you have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, engineering, finance, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in the IT domain. You have extensive IT experience leading teams, guiding successful ERP implementations, and/or navigating e-commerce business transformations. Experience in retail and supply chain industries, with a specific focus on SAP, will be particularly valued. 

You have advanced expertise across multiple operational functions and principles, demonstrating the ability to skillfully plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity. Your comprehensive skill set spans project management, software development, finance, customer service, e-commerce, leading enterprises, network security, and employee management. Experience in national multi-site operations along with proficiency in French, is highly regarded. You will leverage your exceptional problem-solving and communication skills to foster effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
