About The Opportunity

Turner Drake seeks a Manager for their Brokerage Division. A leader who will take it to greater heights by capitalizing on their already established, extensive base of commercial and investment property owners. The team has built their commercial real estate business on long-term relationships dating back over four decades in Atlantic Canada. Turner Drake has expertise in most types of commercial real estate: industrial, office, retail, multi-family (apartments), hotel, or motel, acting for owners wishing to lease, sell or purchase as well as tenants seeking rental space. As a well-established brand and trusted name in the industry, this is a prime opportunity for a licensed individual to join the team and continue in their success.

About You

With a Sales’ or Brokers’ license to trade in Nova Scotia you will (ideally) have a minimum of 10 years experience in commercial sales and leasing, or have been successfully engaged in selling residential real estate. You thrive in a corporate culture that is professional but believes in a good work-life balance without evening and weekend work demands. You are someone who prefers to work in a team environment with colleagues who share your enthusiasm. You will draw upon your previous sales experience by prospecting, cold calling, and networking to drum up business. You share our ethos that success is built on long-term relationships with clients rather than a transactional approach.

Our ideal candidate is looking for an employer like Turner Drake who invests in your career and rewards success. Their focus is on finding the right candidate. With a team of well-tenured employees, they hire for life so they want to find a colleague who fits their corporate culture. Somebody who they can trust and who can trust them. While the exigencies of some assignments may sometimes require work outside normal office hours it is their view that this should be the exception rather than the rule: they believe strongly in a civilized work-life balance and conduct the firm’s operations accordingly.

The Offer

Venor and Turner Drake embrace a culture of belonging in the workplace. No matter who you are, where you’re from, how you think, what you believe in, or who you love, we welcome your application. We all come from different backgrounds and different walks of life, bringing in unique perspectives and experiences. We encourage applications from Indigenous- Mi’kmaw, African Nova Scotians, African Canadians and People of Colour (BIPOC), as well as newcomers to Canada, folks with disabilities, and members of the 2SLGBTQ community. If you require any accommodation in the application and interview process, please let us know (including different materials or otherwise).
