As part of the Central Services division, the Service Resolution team’s primary functions are to code data related to worker’s compensation claims for statistical reporting and research purposes and to ensure the accurate and timely processing of medical aid invoices and payments for injured worker expenses (e.g. prescriptions, medical devices, travel-related expenses) and service provider expenses (e.g. physios, hospitals, psychologists, pharmacies, and other service providers).

Reporting to the Director of Central Services, the Manager, Service Resolution provides strategic leadership and operational direction to the Service Resolution Team in pursuit of organizational and team goals and objectives and fosters a team culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The Manager of service Resolution is responsible for strategic team planning, providing ongoing performance feedback and coaching to team members, overseeing team operations and productivity, efficient management of human and financial resources, quality assurance, and leading the improvement of systems, processes, and procedures. Experience managing financial and/or data entry systems, processes, and procedures would be an asset.  

In collaboration with the Director of Central Services, the Manager develops and implements key operational indicators (KOI) and corresponding reports to monitor and measure team performance and to support the achievement of broader organizational key performance indicators (KPI), priorities and objectives.  

Liaising with internal teams and external service providers, the Manager builds and maintains collaborative relationships, identifies opportunities for technological and process improvements, and escalates issues for technical support or resolution when required. 

The Manager adapts and responds to the changing environment and creates opportunities for change through active participation. 

About you

As a successful candidate, you will possess a university degree in Business, Finance or a related field along with a minimum of five years’ experience in a senior decision-making capacity. An equivalent combination of a diploma/university degree in another area of study and significant additional work experience may be considered. You have a demonstrated history of leading teams, managing individual and team performance, and building a high-performing, collaborative, and team-oriented team culture.   You have experience leading process implementation and improvement, resolving service issues whilst fostering collaboration with internal teams and/or external stakeholders.

The Offer

We offer a competitive compensation package including a salary range of $90,356-112,951. Any offer of employment will be conditional upon the completion of all applicable background checks, confirmation of credentials, and a valid Driver’s Abstract, the results of which must be satisfactory to the WCB.
