Our client is seeking a Project Manager with a robust background in construction project management and an unwavering commitment to safety. This role will require leading and coordinating multiple job sites, overseeing teams, and ensuring that projects are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with our strict safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution: Oversee project scope, schedule, and budget from initiation through completion, ensuring that all deliverables meet contractual and quality standards.
- Safety and Compliance: Lead in implementing and enforcing rigorous safety standards across all projects, maintaining strict compliance with industry and regulatory safety guidelines.
- Team Leadership: Lead a high-performing project team, fostering a work environment that prioritizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring regular communication to manage expectations and address any project concerns proactively.
- Financial Oversight: Track and manage project budgets, monitor job costs, and ensure profitability while adhering to financial goals and constraints.
- Resource Coordination: Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to ensure availability and readiness of materials, equipment, and personnel needed to execute projects smoothly.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, with a consistent focus on preventing incidents and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support a strong safety culture within the project team.
Skills & Attributes
The ideal candidate is an accomplished Project Manager with a deep-rooted commitment to safety in the construction industry. Armed with post-secondary education in construction technology, engineering, architecture, or a related field, you possess the expertise to manage complex projects seamlessly from inception to completion. You bring exceptional communication skills, financial insight, and extensive experience in safety management. Your track record includes building strong client relationships, mentoring teams, and fostering a positive, safety-first project environment that drives success and excellence on every job-site. You have 5+ years of proven experience in the construction industry, you are proficient in using construction software and have OSHA certification &/or relevant safety training.
