With an established track record, Thistle enjoyed success in the executive search industry in the Eastern US and Toronto markets before aligning his career with Venor to apply his talents in his native province of Newfoundland and Labrador. He has achieved remarkable talent placement and client relationship management results and is excited to lead the NL Tech Practice.
As the NL Tech Practice leader, Thistle will be pivotal in sourcing, attracting, and placing dynamic professionals within the NL tech ecosystem. Thistle developed his expertise in technology services in St. John’s before moving to Toronto to work his way into a leadership role with an international recruitment firm. He then led client engagement at a boutique executive search firm focused on technology leadership hires for private equity clients in the US. Ryan says he is excited to continue building relationships in NL and help companies scale with elusive talent in today’s competitive landscape.
